The Construction Contractors Association of Ethiopia (CCAE) is the voice of the national construction industry. Over 1000 member firms represent contractors across a wide variety of sectors – general contractors, trade contractors, road builders, design-builders and the list goes on. This diversity of backgrounds enables CCAE to speak authoritatively to the federal government, to the media and to the international community on the issues affecting you.

 

Our true strength lies with our members. It is our members who drive CCAE. It is our members who provide direction and guidance to the association, and who give us the mandate to speak out on the issues and concerns affecting them. It is our members who have made CCAE the success it is today.

The goal of the CCAE is to help you meet these challenges and excel in your business. The CCAE’s purpose is to provide an amalgamated representation of our membership in all matters pertaining to the industry.

 

The Ministry office that has close control on the contractor and the sector as whole has already started handling matters related to the contractor only through the association and therefore any information emanating from the concerned government ministry office as well as other private and professional institution reaches the contractor through the association. Important training opportunities and other relevant information's come to the association and accordingly appropriate action is being taken by members to benefit from the opportunity.

On the basis of the memorandum of Association any individual /enterprise that are legally licensed to enroll in the construction sector can be registered as a member.

All members are required to effect payment of registration as well as the annual fee in advance after completing the registration form. The annual membership fee varies according to the grades of the contractors while the registration fee is a uniform one.
